I was kinda guessin' the same as my crystal is in the smaller board,and I see exactly what u mean about the jumped section. ...and I'm in the process of hunting an oscilloscope program on-line. Many thanks for the conformation.
Also...why do you use the transistor in this model and not the diode I've seen in others?
