Well problem solved! I just called Hobico Tech line and mentioned my problem and they are sending me a new cowl no charge! Now that is great customer service. I will have a little work to reset the mounting ring but that will be far easier than doing the painting (I hate painting).
But for future reference Hobico states the correct paint match is the Cub Yellow TOPR7518 but it isn't the same.
