I have the smaller version of this plane, .46-.60 size. My impression from what I have read is that seagull make a good solid plane... like overweight and not really suited for 3D. Yet I've heard that mine can hover with a Saito .82.

I'm not experience enough to know if I can over power this plane to the point that it can do what I want. I'm temped to try it anyway. It seems like every time I try to buck the common knowledge, I end up wishing I had taken the money I wasted and bought the plane I really wanted.
