Rigging a Heli with rockets is illegal even in a state where fireworks are legal. Where the firework is used for other than the purpose it was designed for. True it is AMA policy not to do and it is also wrong to suggest Estes products since it is also against TRA and NAR policy. They spend a lot of time and money in washington trying to keep rocket motors off the BATF explosives list as it is. I understand you are talking about fireworks but a lot of people don't see that. TRA and NAR are the two Rocketry organizations that try their best to keep the rocketry hobby alive, fun and safe. It is hard enough to keep the government off Rocketry Clubs back by following the rules. It makes it harder when you take a fun hobby and turn it dangerous. It is a free country and what ever floats your boat. But if your rocket launching Heli hurts someone even yourself. You would be surprised as how it could hinder other peoples pleasures. Don't ask don't tell.
