Ok, I see the problem now. This is why I ask, because as an Admin I don't have any limitations. Anyway, somehow the setting for members to be able to create polls had been turned off. Sometimes the RCU system gets a mind of it's own and things like this happen. Anyway, I have reset the setting and now you all should be able to see the "New Poll" button, and thus you all will be able to create polls now.

Ahhhhhhh, thought it was a permission issue
... & yes, funny timing, because I was just trying Chrome (I use FireFox) to see if it could be a browser issue, & Iogged out in FF first, then logged back in & I can now see the New Poll button .... thanks for looking into this Ken!
