CS Engines are usually OK, but it is possible to get a poorly fitted one though. Usually the engine itself is OK, it is whether the carburetor works OK for you or not. If the carb is not good, then you need to either know enough to figure out a way to fix it or replace it with a better one.
But otherwise the engines usually run pretty good and make good power.
