Hello Guys,
I'm getting ready to get a second hand Big Stick 60 and I'm beginning to start thinking about my power options. The only two choices I have is between my YS-91 4 stroke and my Rimfire 80 running on a 5S 5000mAh pack. The reason that these are the only options is that I already have them. Obviously either choice is more than capable of flying the plane but I'd like to hear from you guys on what you think. I'd prefer it if this thread didn't turn into the usual electric vs glow battle. I am already very familiar with the advantages and disadvantages of either option. The only thing that has me starting to lean more towards the YS is the fact that the plane is already set up for the glow motor. Even so, the necessary modifications to convert the plane to electric are very easy and wouldn't take long to make.
So, what do you think fellas?.....................
