Default Ok 3d guys, need some advice.

I fly mostly scale but do have a morris su do koi with an fx 46 with 12/3 prop. I just bang it around and have had more fun with this plane than anything I have flown in my 30 years on the sticks. It will fly in calm or 35 mph winds, rain, ect. A real all around fun airplane.

But, time to get serious. I want some high tech flying machine that will still be fun. I have an older Saito 91 on the bench so that might be the power plant.

Would like to hover and all that, never could get the su do koi in a prolonged hover.

I have been reading here about the Funtana and other newer 3d planes. What should I get? Do I need an smaller rx, currently have Jr 950s rx with 10x tx to use. What servos do you guys use?

Lots of advice needed to get on the right track.

Thanks,
paul
