<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt">Schweighofer Alpha Jet Project (Part 18)</div><div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt"><span style="color: #002060">The visit at Red Bull</span></div><div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt"><span style="color: #002060">At the 24^th July 2013 we visited Red Bull and had the opportunity to see the Alpha jet together with Peter Cmyral and Robert Furchs. The trip from our company to Hangar-7 (</span><font color="#0000ff">http://www.hangar-7.com/de/the-flying-bulls/der-hangar-8/</font><span style="color: #002060">) lasts about 3 hours. We arrived at 10 am in front of the Hangar 8 (service hangar).I think after the Airpower the mechanics have a lot of work &ndash; the hangar was full with airplanes.</span></div><div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt"></div><div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt"><span style="color: #002060">The airplanes are all in a top condition polishes with glossy surfaces. Everything is clean, no parts and tools are lying around nevertheless the work is done. I had to lay down some times for taking pictures and my clothes haven&rsquo;t got dirty. After a short talk to the manager we started our work.</span></div><div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt"></div><div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt"><span style="color: #002060">We have measured the complete undercarriage, compared all angles with our drawings and found some mistakes we had to clear. We got the opportunity to film the retracting process, this is really impressive and enlightening. The video clip could be a help for future Alpha Jet builder.</span></div><div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt"></div><div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt"></div><div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt"></div><div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt"><span style="color: #002060">The statement of Wilbert on RC-Network concerning the flaps made me insecure a little bit. For this we have checked the flaps too and found out we have to make some changes. The flap changes its position during the extending progress some centimetres towards the fuselage.</span></div><div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt"></div><div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt"></div><div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt"><span style="color: #002060">For this the flaps are bevelled on the fuselage side. This bevel allows them to slide to the side. </span></div><div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt"><span style="color: #002060">Our Alpha Jet has here an edge and we have to change this detail of our construction.</span></div><div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt"></div><div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt"></div><div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt"><span style="color: #002060">Thank you Wilbert for making me insecure!</span></div><div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt"><span style="color: #002060">The next part we have checked was the elevator with its bearing and linkage. Fortunately a spare Elevator was on stock. We have compared it with our construction, here everything is all richt.</span></div><div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt"></div><div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt"></div><div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt"><span style="color: #002060">At last I have made many pictures of the cockpit.
