Rodney,
After nearly 4 years on my Epsilon with the OS 91 FX (and I absolutely loved that combo!) I was doing more advanced maneuvers that just required significantly more vertical than the .91 would offer. Like very large square loop on point and attempting snaps on the up-line of very tall stall turns.
Fast forward ... Nearly a year ago I re-engined with the OS 1.20 AX. I have a new airplane! I just sold an Epsilon 90 to my brother and told him to keep the 91 FX on it as he wouldn't need anything more at his skill level. But the 1.20 really extended the range of the airframe and opened new doors after I thought I'd reached the limit of the airplane. Now I can make unlimited height verticals with a snap roll in the middle and it accelerates out of the snap.
I know this airplane. A conservative engineering estimate put well over 10,000 miles on my Epsilon! And the .91 is enough for the flying that most people will throw at it. But if you want unlimited verticals with snaps or other more advanced maneuvers, the 1.20 will completely change the airplane.
