Default RE: Capiche 50

No need to delete, plenty going on.

As for the C140 thread, we are waiting for something to happen, ie the plane to be launched.

My airframe is nearly complete. Basically one aileron to go. Still a sheet of 1/16th short, so wont finish it until the weekend, when I will also do the final sanding, shape the leading edges of the wing, and the little tidying up needed. Its going to be a busy weekend, no flying for me as I want to get my GP Extra and Cap ready for flying as well. Good thing I have booked Monday off work...

Hercmate, If you dont double bevel the surfaces you wont get the throw needed for real 3D stuff. By doing it you leave the options open to you, you don't have to do the wild 3D stuff if you find you dont like it and just wont a smooth sport plane.

Jimbo, the Laser has the power, but is a bit heavy. Loverly engines aren't they? Fancy buying my 70? Anyway, yes plenty of power, just watch the weight (you'll be well over 5lb, the laser 80 is a good 5/6 oz more than the Saito 72)

Luke, I love that scheme. How did you do the swish on the wing? (sorry, how did your Dad do the swish on the wing?[8D]) AS for my scheme, I did post it before. A long time ago now - post 739 on page 25. Can reload I'm in the office, firewall won't let me.
