Going Electric
I have a new Miss Vegas Duece Nitro, never been used, still in the wrapper. I decided it will be too much messing around tuning and messy playing with a nitro, plus with the nitro yo uhave to keep it moving ALL THE TIME. I like the fact with an electric you can just stop and watch it float in the water and just look at it which I like to do.(give my hands a break) The nitro has to keep moving and moving fast cause there is no clutch or a water pump to keep it cool at idle. Doing slow passes or testing manuvering skills around rocks and things is what I like to do also, not just wide open fast passes.
So yes I decided I'm selling the Vegas and trying out a fast electric brushless setup. I've seen the youtube videos of both the Revolt 30 and Spartan...both look faster than a nitro.
My questions are.... Which one is more favorable? the Revolt 30 or Spartan? both seem impressive and in the same league, but I am trying to grip the best bang for buck and quality.... I want it to also run out of the box with no mods and run like the youtube videos....Both claim to do just that and I don't want to learn later that the "fast ones" have 400 dollars in mods. Which boat is more reliable? Frying speed controllers and motors in a stock setup is BS. I admit I like the looks of the spartan slightly better....it's a super nice looking boat, but if it has overheating issues even stock...I'll go with the Revolt.
Just looking to get one of these super boats that I can just throw a nice battery into and fly without much effort, tuning or worrying about sparks coming out of the hood.
So....hands down, be honest.....Revolt 30 or Spartan?
