BH stated it as I have for several years now. McMasterCarr has a good assortment of lengths, and diameters versus thread size. I use 3/8" aluminum hex (round is also available) with 8-32 threaded ends since I soft mount my engines. Actually 6-32 would work fine in my soft installation too, but have chosen to stay with 8-32s. I simply use a spacer in the mounting holes of the engine lugs....blue outer nyrod fits just about perfectly. Lengths are in 1/4" increments. These are very inexpensive and I use them on 55 cc engines
BTW, I've also used 5/16" diameters to further reduce weight on smaller 30cc engines. There is hardly a cost difference tho
