The aileron horn connection is actually a little forward of the hinge line. By connecting to the round horn on the servo you actually get close to the same amount of aileron throw in both direction.

I found this out on earlier installations.

On high wing Q500 racers this type of installation can help aileron performance (makes it roll better).
