I too fell in love with the looks of these planes long ago. I've had 2...the first one went down because of radio interference...I'd had it 14 years, but it sat for about 9 of those years (just couldn't let it go...). Had about 300 flights on it, even wore out a set of Rome-Air retracts flying the beast. Best rolling plane I've ever flown, just had that nasty habit of falling on it's back in vertical stuff. I've still got one....slightly modified from the original. Fus is the same as original, but the wing cores were cut slightly thicker at the root, so I could try it with a 4 stroke. It sat for 10 years after it was built...but I finally got it in the air. Motor is a YS 91 AC, which does a fair job...a 1.2 would fly it better. Landing gear is kinda high, because of the need for a big prop on a 4 stroke motor. Still love the way they look in the air...
