I used Acrylic Enamel (type with hardener) automotive paint.

I am trying something new this time. I did not apply clear coat over the fuselage paint. I had applied too much paint already and was planning to avoid adding more weight by not applying clear coat.

The surface was wet sanded with 2000 grit wet-and-dry sandpaper used wet. This was followed by various polishing compounds and finished with car wax.

The overall surface has a semi gloss finish and is satisfactory for a Q500.
