I run the Impact tracks and they are excellent. The track pad slides in and locks into place (same as the snow grousers), just like the real track. Very durable and with no issues. I bought the Tamiya tracks first, my opinion junk. Upon opening the packaging, I found two tracks with some sticky residue on them and till this day and after numerous cleanings, they still are sticky. Also, however or whatever they do to adhere the pad to the track, it doesn't work for long. Ripping the Leo across the driveway and it was a rooster tail of track pad behind it. Maybe I got a bad set, unknown but the Imact tracks are solid. Hope this helps...

Well I'm not surprised the pads came off. Mitosal is Impact so those tracks would be the same. The LEO is truly the best tank to run with the standard tracks. Metal is most definitely not needed here. I'm of the belief now that lighter is better where ever you can get away with it. Some tanks just need the weight others dont. Only if the tank really needed the weight would I use metal tracks now. Less strain and wear and tear on the drive components.
