JB Weld is often used on large scale models to adhear the threaded titanium links to the carbon fiber pushrods. Its been done that way for years & if done correctly theres nothing wrong with useing it. All my helicopter links were attached with JB weld & even in violent crashes none have failed. You should use a good grade of silver solder or learn how to braze if you elect to go the solder rout.....Gene
