He had started repairs, just needed to be completed, covered and painted. It is the earlier S-1, so it is a little heavier with the larger cross section balsa leading edge. But I covered it in an NOS roll of Coverite Micafilm Pearl White I had, which is very light but stronger than silk. I plan to put a light finish on the fuselage, trim on the wings, so although not contest grade should still fly decently.

I have never used Micafilm, that Pearl White looks nice. Couple of questions...does it have grain (spanwise/chordwise) and what are you going to use for clearcoat?
