I did look into it and saw the following on Mac's web site:

(MACS Product Does not guarantee this muffler when it is used on the Evo.10cc GX(gas) motor)

Knowing others have run them quite a bit, without incident, why they've chosen to take this stance is beyond me? How they're going to prove a defective one returned to them wasn't on a 55AX is another question?
