3 more flights this morning. I still need to move the CG further forward, but I'm starting to get the control throws where I want them and have started playing around with basic trimming. I'm still taking it easy on the new batteries, but I clearly have plenty of power with the Shulman Fury motor turning the APC 21x13.5 and speed feels really controllable. The standout behavior so far is in rolling maneuvers as they're effortless (and nothing looks better in rolls than a biplane), but the airplane feels very solid and locked in even flying at very slow speeds. Not quite as slowly as Mayr flies his Trigantic of course, but I don't think anyone flies like him.
