my Poor little Westy had a little knocking noise today. it was the second run after getting it back. it seems the factory had sneaked a few of the conrods Weston rejected because of how they fitted the bushing ( on some of the first engines only ) back into the spares batches.. ironically if Alan had only replaced the piston and liner i'd be fine lol
despite the noise, and a lack of power. it still ran fine

Spoke to Alan, this won't happen to new engines as the method of doing the bushings has changed so they CAN'T force it in slightly on the piste ( Austrian joke

)
made a nice mess inside tho, the knocking noise was the piston hitting the backplate and crankcase lol
So the Capiche sits idle again till next weekend
and the stickers still wont be on it by then
