This was not enough to hurt anything.Looked inside all OK needle lever was a little high which should of caused it to get more fuel.Pump is working and pop off preasure seems about right,May get it mounted on test stand tomorrow. It should run.I have a carb and ignition if it comes to that . This engine is the same as DLA.Has DLA name on parts. Looks well built but poorly finished. Will let you no.Had the crank out bearings are good.
No crankcase leaks, and reeds are sealing OK.
Thank You Bill Carpenter Grumpy no TWO.Merry Christmas.
AMA 2500.
I kinda hate to tell you this.Run two tanks of fuel through the SP today. I wish I knew why it would not run for you. Hand started right off carb tuned very easy .Going to run it a couple of hours and pull the cyl and see if it is still eating the piston. If it was not winter,I would put it in the air.I have a friend who want's it if it checks out OK on the piston. I think I will put a Bowman ring in it. Still not good compression but will hand start.Ring looked real crappy.
