Tore the engine down today.Did not find anything that should have kept it from running.Piston had some goudges and SPS. shiney piston spots,Found some burrs on the edge of the finger ports.Cleaned these up and worked on piston.Ring looks like crap but worked on the ring a little. If I were going to put this engine in a airplane I would put a bowman ring in it.Anyhow it feels a lot better now and seems to have better compression. The engine has been run.I believe if it had been run longer would have ruined the piston,Also the engine has been apart had signs of a black cylinder gasket stuck to flange on the cyl. This was not enough to hurt anything.Looked inside all OK needle lever was a little high which should of caused it to get more fuel.Pump is working and pop off preasure seems about right,May get it mounted on test stand tomorrow. It should run.I have a carb and ignition if it comes to that . This engine is the same as DLA.Has DLA name on parts. Looks well built but poorly finished. Will let you no.Had the crank out bearings are good.

One major thing I can think of that could cause this problem and is a simple fix is, the gasket or gaskets between the carburetor or reed valve and engine block could be sucking air. I also bought a Chinese engine, the first thing I did was to replace the carburetor, and put a Bowman ring in mine. The jury is still out on whether or not I replace the CDI.
When I bought a Bowman ring, Frank Bowman inserts a notice into his packages that tells you that the Reed valves on these Chinese engines are notorious for having mold flash left on them which prevents the Carburetor or engine block side from sealing. You might give it a check before you throw in the towel. Good luck

I have an RCGF 15 that would not pull fuel even with the choke full on. When i bought a ring for another engine from Bowman he included the note. I disassembled the engine and cleaned up all surfaces and sealed them with silicon seal.
Now the engine starts and runs like a champ. It sure is tough to break in though. I should have got a Bowen ring for it too.

Well Bill, I'm happy for you. I never would have taken the piston out to check the ring as I don't have a ring compressor any more. So I would have flown it till the damn thing blew up. Boy, I will NEVER spend one penny on a SE product again. And most whole heartedly agree, getting old sucks!
