When I bought a Bowman ring, Frank Bowman inserts a notice into his packages that tells you that the Reed valves on these Chinese engines are notorious for having mold flash left on them which prevents the Carburetor or engine block side from sealing. I have to second this.
I have an RCGF 15 that would not pull fuel even with the choke full on. When i bought a ring for another engine from Bowman he included the note. I disassembled the engine and cleaned up all surfaces and sealed them with silicon seal.
Now the engine starts and runs like a champ. It sure is tough to break in though. I should have got a Bowen ring for it too.
