Hi Joe.
The plane will become more maneuverable, but not unstable.
You will also notice that you will be able to snap stall it at its most aft CG position.
The plane is designed so that you cannot fly it in the unstable CG range. The reason is that in that range, the plane would fall on its tail while sitting on the ground with an empty tank.
So it would be impossible to taxi it with an almost empty tank...
What I would recommend you to do, to get used to this setup, it to do a high speed pass, pull vertical and snap stall it with full aileron and rudder in the same direction. Let the plane stop in the air and apply full thrust while pulling full up to keep the nose to the vertical.
The plane should enter what I call its "auto stable nose up regime" where you'll be able to hover it.
This is the only plane in the world capable of hovering without vector thrust and without gyros. So enjoy it...
