Cool
Thanks Malcom, i was thinking along the same lines the Cougar/Hype section really does seem to work as well as the very rounded LE's at low speed, but also work better at high speed.
my other center section idea had the main spar running in the same plan as the standard Capiche wing, with the larger chord of the FF wing the spar would be behind the high point, a departure from standard construction which would leave the D box tapering back at the rear, but i don't see a problem with this. it would also be simplier than having a main center spar, that then has to start a new spar once exited the fuz.
glad you want dihedral, i did wonder. i take it theres no taper on the ribs, no different section at the tips. ( aiming for the no wing rock as per standard wing, which both Cougar and Hype show )
no matter which center box i went for i'd use the existing center section, but the thicker wing would mean the belly would be that much smaller. the hardest bit is then working out which way to shift the wing to getthe same CofG reaction.. ie, for those how like it forward, the FF wing CofG is forward, for the tail happy charlies, it's back.. i'm in the middle, so i'll find out where the Hype CofG is from choppy ( drawing of the section too )and get it done mid way...

oh dear, i guess i'm really gonna have to do this now

Malc, could you send a quick scribble of your description.. just incase my view isn't want you were getting at.
Thanks
