I picked up a rtf one on a good deal and I honestly don't know how they expect anyone to fly this on the pre-programmed DX4. I'm no expert but I fly a 450 and 500 and this thing out of the box was like a throwing a cat up in the air!
I set it up on my heli radio (DX7) and also leveled the swash(eyeballed it) and what a difference. I made a tamed-down curve , a normal stunt1 and a stunt 2 idle up. Started out on the tamed-down mode and quickly advanced to the normal mode.
It is a nimble thing and quite darty . As mentioned it is also very durable.

I would set up a tamed down throttle/pitch/curve and try that. Also check and adjust the swashplate.
