Probably not. Biplanes in general have more drag and are a little harder to maintain orientation with. Of course, if it's a foamy and can take a bounce well you'll probably do fine just setting it down in tall grass for a while. A much better solution is a true trainer. In that size plane, the ultra micro Champ is a gentle and forgiving flyer.
