need some advice

hey guys, im just beginning in the RC world as a flyer. i am being given a tiger moth with charger, transmitter & accessories. do you guys think this is a good plane to begin with and do you have any tips that could help me get started. p.s. the tiger moth has a 22 inch wingspan i think.

Probably not. Biplanes in general have more drag and are a little harder to maintain orientation with. Of course, if it's a foamy and can take a bounce well you'll probably do fine just setting it down in tall grass for a while. A much better solution is a true trainer. In that size plane, the ultra micro Champ is a gentle and forgiving flyer.
