I think it is the same pitch and diameter but anytime you replace a plastic prop with a metal prop you will see an increase in performance due to less blade flex.
An Octura M445 is a popular upgrade but watch the temperature for the first few runs, if the boat isn't set up very well this prop can overheat things.
All props need to be sharpened and balanced before use unless you pay for one already done, there are a few people around who offer this service.
Be careful when working on props, if they are brass coloured it means they are a copper beryllium mix, the Br is VERY dangerous to you health, you do not want to inhale the dust. Once it's in your lungs it is not coming out!

I wear a respirator with a P100 filter and do all my prop work over a tub of water keeping everything wet, I personally will not use power tools to work props as it is almost impossible to control the dust.
