I have two of the Castle 2028 motors that are "rated" 10hp but that's only peak, and constant is about 6hp in a boat
this why our brushless big hydros don't stand up to the mod gas motors in NAMBA racing right now, for they have 7.5hp and up!
so gas is where I will stand in that class for now, till I find the right electric motor....

but back to this Gas HP thread

Agian you post a video of something I am not talking of..
in fact it is not "legal" to race in the class I keep wanting to build!

you brag about illegal builds for the class I am wanting to race in ahhhahahahhhahah

I will say this again
I "want" to build a "legal" gas size single brushless hydro on 8s 10,0000mah with about 750ish kv to run gas size props for 6+ laps...........
nothing you have posted shows what I am talking about to race what I need

show me what I am talking about then and only then do you have a valid argument!
in other words back it up.. you cannot back it up

and after watching that video I bet big money he could not survive a 6 laps heat 4 times on Sunday with our gas Hydros
