For a plane this size I would want my wing loading to be around 27 oz.

I agree, but what motor is it built for a moki 2.10?? That is a heavy motor as well. I would say that DP needs to find a way to enlarge the wing span and area while reducing weight by a pound. This way the DA-50 would be THE MOTOR for a plane that would fly a lot like a 40%.

P.S.
I have a lot of respect for DP as a designer, these are just suggestions that would turn this plane into a 3D monster.
