Default CMP/Nitroplanes 1.20 or 1.40 Cessna 182

Big alert here. Before you fly Check your wing incidence relative to the horizontal stabilizer when it is neutral ! The Top Flite kit is about +.25 degrees positive. My CMPro/Nitroplanes had +5 degrees ! ! ! I have had two of them and they have BOTH had +5 degrees. This renders the plane virtually unfliable. I had to raise the trailing edge by 5/8 inch to get it close to 1/2 degree positive. I did that by laminating balsa and very thin lite ply in a horshoe shape and the plane became a BIG trainer.
Other posts have siad it was a CG problem and moved theirs WAY forward but that is wrong. With this solution it is one of the nicest fliers I have ever owned..... until..... radio failure. Rx died.
