I will take a look into this company and their planes before saying anything else. I just know that GSP has a bad rep. and I wouldnt want to deal with them from what I have heard from some fairly knowledgeable voices in the RC community.

I have no experience with this particular combo but I do know that the wing loading is on the upper end of the curve with the 3.08 lbs DA50 on the front of it. When you add over an extra pound to it that increases the wing loading more, plus you still dont have the power of the DA 50. I really hope it works out for you but I dont have a good feeling about this one. I think the airplane will land hot and might have a tendency to snap out with you on turns.

My advice would be to brace the firewall well and thread lock every screw you put on there. Do us a favor and weigh the airplane fully set up with no gas. I would be interested to see what it weighs.
