This is one of my favorite cars. I have three of them - one built in new condition for the shelf, one NIB, and another that is very gently used that I am planning on running soon. As with all of these old school pan cars, you just need a really smooth surface to run them on... a pebble can ruin your day. Parts are absolutely impossible to find, but the car is simple enough to where you can get creative to replace something as long as it's not something crucial like a sprocket for that chain drive. This is the only chain-driven 4WD 1/12 car I've ever seen...but if you get it running right, it's great fun. It's handling is very unique. I just wish I had a local carpet track where I could run it more often.
