The bulk of the EC, and Dave Brown specifically, do not see this a "silliness". What was done was an absolute affront to the system we have used for years. Mr. Cain and Dr. Frank all but issued a challenge to the NC to take action they are not authorized to use. It was a strike at the very fabric of the AMA election process. Because some time has passed, I had forgotten the outrage they expressed. Thank you for reminding me. I guess the confirmation of the correctness of my personal moral code, by others on this forum, coupled with those memories, is what I was looking for in this thread.

To each reader and to the District 8 voters in particular, I ask this: If you were one of the other members of the NC, and you lived within the intent of the rules, and had their high moral code, what would you have done in the face of such an affront? I urge you all to consider that in casting your ballots.
