Probably the best field for jets is just north of Hartford at the Wintonbury flying club. It has a paved runway and I have flown both big EDFs (ebandit) and turbines (1/4 scale Hawk) there with no problem. Attached is a link to the club website where you can also see video of the hawk flying there.
