Something like 4-40 HD ball links stacked one on top of each other with the 4-40 bolt going through the two connectors tapped into the aluminum rod. The tubes will be the same length.
What do you think?
I've used this method, but instead of stacking the balls on top of the servo arm I put one on top, and one below the arm. That eliminated any tendency for the balls to twist the arm. The setup outlived the airframe, never gave me a problem. It was in a 1.20 size, not a real giant.
