I have not seen this done before but that does not mean it has been which is why I am seeking your advice. I want to power my elevator with a single high power digital servo. I am thinking of using two graphite control rods back to the split elevator halves but connected at the same link on the aluminum servo wheel. Something like 4-40 HD ball links stacked one on top of each other with the 4-40 bolt going through the two connectors tapped into the aluminum rod. The tubes will be the same length.
What do you think?

Ah top and bottom, that might works even better. Thanks for the reply I think I will give this a go. This will only be on a scratch design for my YS91

Have you considered a pull pull on the elevator. I just did mt first on an DP edge and i may not ever run rods on my elevator again. Im very impressed w/ it.

I have not, only rudder. I gave it a thought but 4 cables seem a bit much just for the elevator and I am not sure I will like the looks. Pull Pull looks real on the rudder but to me not on the elevator.

It was a little hard to calculate the wire exits on the fuselage, but that was it. It's a super setup. This pic is from my DP Edge

Thanks for the image Cheech and a nice simple setup. I know what you mean about the exists. This design in 3D CAD so I could lay it out there and get exact dimensions. Did you line the exists with anything?

I measured the height at the servo arm, transferred that measurement to the covering on the outside of the plane. I then ran a string from the hole on the hole on the control horn to the mark. That gave me the line on the fuselage.
I then just took a swag at exactly where the cable would enter the fuselage and made a tiny slit. I got lucky and was right on the money.
