Thanks Jim. Your method seems like the way to do it, just wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking something.

The wingtips on my Viper already have recesses/clear covers, so that install should be pretty straight forward. However, installing the upper and lower fuselage anti-collision beacons seem a bit more challenging. I bought a couple of the clear sheets of the various shaped beacon covers - http://www.electrodynam.com/store/product260.html - but I'm scratching my head over how to attach these things and not make it look like a child of 8 did the work (which is usually what my builds look like indeed did happen.)

I also got the landing light with the intensifying lens (wow, does that gizmo work!!), but figuring out how to attach this apparatus to the nose strut is also an engineering hurdle to be cleared.

Yeah, sorry I missed you guys at TopGun. Always a good time hanging with y'all. I just couldn't make the time off from work fit around it this year. Maybe next year. Also a no-go on KY Jets this year due to family vacation plans. The Blue Angels are doing the beach airshow that week, and the family wanted to rent a beach house for the week. Gotta admit, they didn't have to twist my arm too hard.

Cheers,

Sluggo
