The size of the recess in the plug and the wire diameter will give you a good indication of its heat range. Smaller wire diameter and larger recess means a hot plug and conversely small recess and larger wire diameter usually indicate a colder plug. A picture of the bottom of the plug will help determine its heat range albeit not precisely.
