Hello All
My name is Andy and I live in Phoenix, AZ. I have been out of flying for almost ten years. Now that I have more time on my hands, I would like to get back in to it. My planes are all nitro, and every year I have put after run oil in them to keep them 'preserved' if you will. I have went through my electronic items (JR YP6102 and Spectrum DX6i ) and I am starting to make sure that the battery packs are in serviceable condition. I may end up having to replace them - time will tell. For the last couple of days I have been cleaning engines and checking my planes. When I stopped flying, I had moved from an Ultra Stick .40 to a Hanger 9 Miss America. I am getting ready to go to the LHS and see what they have to replace the Ultra Stick - I want to get re familiarized with the Stick before moving on. I still have the Miss America and would like to fly it once I am back in the swing of things. My other ARFs that I was working on include a GP Super Stearman, a GP Shoestring, Thunder Tiger Rare Bear, and a CMP De Haviland Mosquito.
The engines I have are Evolution 46s, KB 61, MDS 68, Thunder Tiger 120 (2 strokes), and a Saito 100 and OS 120 pump (4 strokes).
My question is what type of fuel will work best for these engines? I honestly cannot remember what mix/ % I was using when I left the hobby.
I appreciate any advice or suggestions any one can give me. I have to tell you working on the engines - it's good to be back.
Andy
