I would think the sensors would detect the differences in the various places and automatically correct for them. If the end user were to need to fine tune the programming on the efi to get the engine to run well, why bother with it at all? Why not just stick to needles? I mean, while most can manage to adjust an engine with a needle, I would bet most wouldn't be able to do much with a laptop.
