For anyone interested in putting together a turbine Tuono Easy, this photo may interest you. On the weekend a friend and I made up formers and rails. It was quite tricky marking the centre of the turbine, test fitting the pipe mounts, etc etc - using string and markings to make sure everything was aligned but I'm pretty sure we got there in the end.



This is installing a VT80 which is quite a compact 80nm turbine. I also checked the Kingtech 100 (same size as an 80 I believe) but it was really too big as it is a lot longer and interferes a bit with the pipe or pushes the fuel tank too far forward. The Vt80 is borderline but doable and looks good when the wing is installed. In the Kingtech range I think a K60 would fit ok.

Now to finalise the pipe mounts and finish gluing that all in place!
