Worst i have ever heard about DLE 20 and 30 cc engines. I have both and do my starting as follows: Full choke, full throttle, turn on ignition, flip prop until it pops or tries to run. Stop. Open choke, lower throttle to about two clicks above full closed throttle, flip to start. Usually starts on second or third flip. This is my proceedure on both engines. By the way. Both engines set all winter and starting with fresh fuel this proceedure started both engines with out any problems. Been flying both engines all summer here in Oklahoma when the wind was below 15 mph.
