Just an update on my 'E-tron Easy' project, I had to mount the turbine further back than the picture shown above to get the CG to sit right. The tailpipe that is supplied by Pirotti is very light weight. I did however get her in to the air a couple of weeks ago. The maiden flight was pretty tricky as there was a few things out of trim on the plane, there was also a mini hurricane blowing which made it extra interesting, but it was a huge push to get it in the air and so the difficulties were worth it. With any new plane there’s a few things to tweak and improve after the first flight so I am rectifying a few issues and tidying up a few things to make it even better. Hope to get out again in the next couple of weeks.
