Years ago I was at a mall show static display and a mall-walker college girl started up one side of me and down the other for displaying "Nazi hate symbols". I finally figured out it was the Ugly Stik that she was ranting about. Whether it did any god or not I tried to explain the difference between a Cross Pattče and a sawstika and the time-line difference between WWI and WWII.
I was happy to point out a Stuka nearby and told her that was historically authentic, represented an aircraft that was from the Nazi period, and the markings were part of history whether they were her politics or not. Someone has to remember the facts and not just the emotions.
That must have been quite the conversation
