The inlet is quite small, is there a cheater hole under the fuselage near the engine?

Hello all you Stick Lovers.
I need some help from you guys. I got gifted a CRCC 26cc Gas Engine from a friend of mine. I'm wondering if any of you perhaps have plans that would be suitable for this size engine. I do like building so that's the route I would like to follow. The plan name and wingspan I should aim for would be really be appreciated.
Thanks happy flying
Wollie

I once put a converted 25 cc weedblower engine on a 60-90size glow ugly stick arf ! I had to cut about 3 inches of the nose to balance it..but it flew decent. It looked hilarious ! The motor was so obscenely oversized looking..

A useful recommendation depends somewhat on how you want to fly. Stick style airplanes are pretty flexible in their flight envelope. That particular engine might hover a .60 size stick. If tooling around and shooting touch and goes then you might get away with an 80 inch Big Sweet and Low stick as found on Outerzone. Generally speaking you could hang that engine off of anything rated for a 120 four stroke or a little larger. The CRCC engine is going to be lighter than the weedwhacker conversions that Foodstick mentions but it will still be in the same power range.

I wish I had a picture of that huge motor on the ugly stick... It was so funny.

Thanks for the help I have decided that 80" would be the one for me. I would like to build it as a split wing to help with handling and transport. Attached the plans I'm going use and scale it up to 80".
Thanks once again all you guys.

I don't recall if I put this on the thread over the years?

One day at the field to guys had the same 60 sized Das Ugly Sticks, identical except the one had a sawed off Barbie sticking out of it with some cheap Spandau machine guns mounted in front of her. They both took off, and one pilot says
"Try to stick with me" ...........and then within 5 seconds SMASH ! midair...

It was so funny because they were picking up parts and nobody knew which plane it belonged to...except Barbie and the machine guns.. I don't recall if they had the same motors or not !
