I guess I am having a lucky run this week!
I am usually on the lookout for vintage audio gear..that is what I do, yet, when I found the ARF Cardinal it once again sparked my interest in RC planes that I had given up on in around 1978 or 9 and moved on. And now to find an engine? !! I need to buy a lotto ticket (and stay indoors during a lightning storm!

)
It's not new but obviously has very low hours. The compression is tight and the muff is still shiny silver!
I guess it could be fun on a .40 trainer swinging a 14" prop....until I nose it down a bit on takeoff and shave an inch off of the tips! Low sped & landing would be a challenge too.
To keep the CG where it needs to be then a 3-4 lb. plane ends up a 6lb'er with not enough wing surface. Dammit!
Guess I could get a bigger top-wing ARF

Not wanting to jump in with both feet this time so I am going to keep it simple. One plane, a decent affordable controller and a NEW quality 2-stroker. I know how addictive this hobby is and now that I am older I am much more disciplined...and more broke!
